As shown above you (parents and guardians) will be completing a
google form over information based on your student and then yourselves. Some of these questions are multiple choice, some will be select more than one and there will also be short and long extended responses. All questions are based on information that I will need about your child and how to get into contact with you as their parent and or legal guardian.

I have created a google slideshow that I would like for you (students) to go over. We are moving forward and learning about how to Add and Subtract this week! Please take your time an read each slide carefully and also watch the video. There is a pre and posttest I would like for everyone to complete.

If you are having trouble understanding the slides on your own, I highly recommend you watching the video all the way through. Digital CItizenship Project Based Learning Activity
• Grade: 5th (Whole class lesson)
• Content Area: ELA
• Topic: Digital Health and Wellness
• Standards: Students engage in positive, safe, legal and ethical behavior when using technology, including in social interactions online or when using networked devices.
• Objectives:
Students will be able to understand the purpose of the internet
Students will know how to safely surf the internet
Students will be able to set a limit on usage of screen time
• Project Title: Being Responsible using the internet
• Project Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to enhance students behavior using the internet and to inform them of the consequences of using the internet. This will show students how to safely and responsibility surf the web, and how much screen time is safe to use while at their current age.
• Project Description:
Step One: create a document in google docs
Step Two: Watch the video that explains digital citizenship
Step Three: In your google doc take notes throughout watching the videos on what digital citizenship is, what internet safety is, how you can be safe on the internet, and how to set an appropriate screen time for yourself.
Step Four: Watch crash course video
Step Five: Read these two blogs involving health and wellness on the internet
Step Six: Finish notes on google docs and answer the questions from step three.
Step Seven: When finished you need to come up and set your own screen time limit that you will use at home
